Crybaby:
A ridiculous 80s movie set in the 50s making a total hilarious mockery of movies like Grease. Starring a very young Johnny Depp as Crybaby. His
grandmother's badass and his grandfather is Iggy Pop. That's all you need to know. It's got good music.
Serenity:
Movie based on the 14-episode cult hit Firefly by Joss Whedon, which I saw before I saw the tv show. Amazing amazing amazing. It's a space
western/action thriller/romance/family love/comedy.
Saved!
Main character gets knocked up by accident, which causes problems at her uber-Christian high school. Starring Jena Malone, Mandy Moore, Macaulay
Culkin, and a really adorable Patrick Fugit. It's like Juno but less indie and more crazy fun. Duh. Macaulay Culkin.
Almost Famous
Patrick Fugit again. Groupies and rock journalism and family and sex and stuff. Awesome.

Silver: But that is just me and my subdued hooker opinions.

DON'T WATCH SERENITY!
Ok, sorry about that. I, like ALW, made the mistake of seeing Serenity before I watched Firefly, which is a bad idea. It is a good movie but it is not
a great movie so unless you have the back story it won't really be all that memorable. Do yourself a favor and watch Firefly first. The TV show is
better than most movies any way, and you will thank us later.
As for my movies? Anything and everything Pixar. Sure you have probably seen all of them but if there are any that you missed out on for whatever
reason, go watch it right now. Except for Cars.
Bug - There have been like three movies called bug but this is the good one. Nobody knows about it, Netflix is the only place I could find it. It
starts with a little boy stepping on a cockroach and just spends the rest of the movie lazily weaving in and out of peoples lives, following the idea
of string theory, and seeing all the stuff that happened just because that boy stepped on that bug. Maybe I only think it's so great because it's my
little treasure that only I know about... but I like to think that it's great.
Air Guitar Nation - It's a documentary about the air guitar world championship, do I need to say anything else?
"HOUSE PARTY IN LYNX'S LIVER!" - Silver
"Lynx - the Jewish irish man." - YRH
"I know I've fallen in love with everyone who has force fed me anything." - Genta
"It's hilarious. and not in a "Laura finds it funny but no one else does" way either." - Laura

Well I will be an old person and suggest Paper Moon, if you haven't already seen it. It's really funny and my family walks around saying, "I want
my 200 dollars" in the little kid voice.
Basically, during the Great Depression, a con man finds himself saddled with a young girl who may or may not be his daughter, and the two forge an
unlikely partnership. THANK YOU IMDB.
I'll be back with more later. I have to finish homework.
I like to laugh...

Saved! is a good recommendation. I'm not hugely into movies but my favorites are West Side Story, Juno, Dogma, and Saved!

hahah my friend went to the Boondock Saint's premier and that guy Norman whatshisface was trying to have teh sex with her.
speaking of boston movies, I'd like all the celebrities to GTFO. srsly. I need some of those streets in life when they block everything off so Tom
Cruise can run around being crazy. I can't imagine what it's like in New York or LA or something.
And everyone needs to see The Fall. Holy fucking shit I love this movie. The visuals are stunning and the story is amazing.

Watch Hard Candy and or Green Street Hooligans.
They are most likely a different type of movie that you've never seen before. I like them both.

Well i can't really put either of them in a certain movie category. Both are serious and none of them are funny.

Hard Candy is kind of humorous in a twisted way. Quality movie. Also, I'm not seeing how to figure that none of us would have seen them, as they're
both fairly popular movies.

To movie buffs they are popular. Not to everyone though well at least 17 or under. Most the people i know have never seen them.

Someone showed me Hard Candy once, and then like 3 months later Juno came out. The entire movie I kept picturing her chopping balls off x.x.

Almost everyone I know has seen Greenstreet Hooligans. I don't think it qualifies as a film for "movie buffs."

I just watched the bloopers from Hot Fuzz on youtube. So funny! Simon Pegg is so deadpan in the movie but the bloopers contain soooo many crack-ups!

I discovered him through Star Trek, actually. Then my boyfriend had me watch Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead because SIMON PEGG. I've been following
him on twitter for the past few weeks, and he's really just a scream. He likes to troll Twilight fans and haters alike, and I just lol and lol and
lolllll.
I actually didn't like Shaun of the Dead much, but I loved Hot Fuzz.

Really???
I like Hot Fuzz (for a long time I would say, "yarp" and "...narp?"), but I think Shaun of the Dead is so much funnier.
